The right size if you're ordering as a back up to cloth...
We mostly use cloth diapers, but we order a set of paper diapers to have on hand for outings and emergencies.

I made the mistake, with the first set of diapers in newborn size, of ordering a 144 count of diapers. It seemed to be more economical! but It turned out that babies grow fast enough at this stage that that size only makes sense if you're using the diapers daily. We gave away something like 125 of those diapers to friends with newborn twins.

This 20 count pack is exactly right for people ordering for intermittent use like we are--my two month year old is almost sizing out of these diapers and we're only a quarter way through this pack!
